Our 3-Stripe Academy drop-in sessions are the top-choice of our players and their parents. These 90-minute sessions offer a detailed and vigorous array of skills training, targeting new concepts and challenges each week. We strive to push our players for the full 90 minutes, while adjusting to their unique strengths and weaknesses. We help players become aware of the small details that can take their game to the next level.
STRENGTH & POWER
Our athletes learn to work with their own body weight for weightlifting and functional training, to reach an elite level. We stress the importance of muscle and joint stability to prevent injury and teach exercises that can help. We also focus on endurance and stability to help players achieve the extra boost of power that basketball demands.
MOBILITY AND TECHNIQUE
Our workouts are built with a strong focus on movement and technique, implemented simultaneously, to increase locomotion, pace, agility, multidirectional speed & acceleration, and hand-eye coordination.
MENTAL PREPARATION & COURT AWARENESS
We challenge players to adopt a tough, focused mentality for the full 90 minutes of training. Developing the right motor and sensory skills at a young age can establish long-term muscle memory and the ability to anticipate plays before they happen. We believe that explaining WHY we do certain drills, and their benefits, helps build stronger athtletes – mentally and physically – on and off the court.
